One of the best ways to build better relations between law enforcement and the faith community is through a jointly executed project partnership. The "Season of Peace" campaign in Boston is one successful example that combines the strengths of all three groups (faith community, law enforcement and high-risk youth) to reduce the shooting rate in a finite period of time.
